Fabio Capello will name his 23-man squad for the England side at the World Cup at 4 pm BST today (or, twenty minutes from now) and reports indicate that the most surprising name not listed on that squad is Arsenal's Theo Walcott.
According to the Guardian, Walcott was omitted in the wing in favor of Tottenham Hotspur's Aaron Lennon, and Manchester City's Shaun Wright-Phillips. I can't think of a single pundit that expected Wright-Phillips to make the cut ahead of Walcott.
