Here's a video of Ryan Shawcross lunging into a tackle on Emmanuel Adebayor in the same fixture last year at the Britannia. The ball was out of play. Everyone slowed down as the ball rolled out, and Adebayor put his foot on the ball to stop in from rolling so he could throw in. Then, Shawcross comes in with his challenge.
But he's a good kid! Sir Alex Ferguson says so!
